Who was to know that there was an actual video with the girl on the toilet?

Alright, don't throw rocks if you've seen this PlayStation 3 commercial before, I'm seeing it for the first time, but I can't just sit and watch as Sony is trying to push the most expensive and powerful console onto people with sex. Sex, sex, sex! If the machine is so good and they're so fancy about it, why do they need this kind of commercial? Plus, she's actually flushing the toilet, isn'tthat a little gross?

One PS3 commercial says that the PS3 could be even smarter than you, while another (the one below in this case) brings forth a bad actress with poor facial movement, sitting on the john, reading a note. Yeah sure the life lessons are pretty funny, but not in the manner they're presented and certainly not in the manner this girl is presenting them.

In case some of you don't remember, the last scene is actually the cover of a German PS3 Magazine, Consoul Magazine, having this as a first subtitle: "Welcome to high definition lifestyle." High definition all right! The mag launching in Germany on 06/03/2007, had a run of 500,000 copies. The cover is okay, as long as you don't hear the sound of the flushing water.

The new monthly trend magazine appeared in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and is distributed through stores catering to the gaming & internet scene and other selected outlets free of charge. "With Consoul we look directly at the lifestyle of our customers. We address all, the fun of new emerging gadgets, the digital life of the internet, and naturally our outstanding games and films", said Uwe Bassendowski, Managing Director of Sony Computer Entertainment Deutschland GmbH.

Most PS3 commercials say "this is living," while they show crazy people, guys masturbating, cheap women and topics that don't in any way tap the PS3's advantages, but hey, masturbating is living, right? Is Sony trying to get everything wrong?
