The developers at Team 17 have released another diary for their upcoming Worms Revolution, talking about how the game will integrate such new features as overhauled physics, 3D landscapes and dynamics water.

The Worms franchise has been launched in 1995 and since then Team 17 has launched a number of core titles and spin-offs, but the series has lately been weighted down by a lack of originality.

The new Revolution title promises to deliver an all-new game experience and will seek to both satisfy long-term fans and draw in new players.

Worms Revolution is set to arrive during the autumn of this year on the PC, the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360 from Microsoft.

The concepts of the Worms game would be uniquely suited to the new Nintendo Wii U home console and its new touch screen controller, but no version has yet been officially announced.
