The development guys at Team 17 working on the upcoming Worms Revolution have revealed via a new diary that gamers who have known the series since it was first introduced will be able to use a new Classic Mode, which will allow them to turn off all the new options that the new game brings.

Revolution is designed to update the classic team based battle gameplay of the Worms series and previous videos from the company have shown such new features as online multiplayer, a puzzle mode, classes and dynamic water.

Anyone can turn them all off and experience a pure Worms game via the Classic options, which is a great way of making sure that long-term fans are attracted to the new release.

Worms Revolution is set to be launched on the PC, the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 from Sony at some point during the fall of this year.
