If you've been looking for another turn-based strategy game to enjoy, look no further as Wastelands Interactive has just announced that Worlds of Magic will be released on March 19.

While that's still two months away, those who want to quench their thirst of turn-based tactical battles can get a glimpse of what Worlds of Magic has to offer.

If you haven't guessed by now, Wastelands Interactive launched their game on Steam Early Access last year, so it's already available for purchase for those who don't want to wait for the final version.

In celebration of the launch announcement, developers have decided to discount Worlds of Magic by 25%, so fans of the genre will be able to grab the game on Steam for €27.74 until January 26.

Unfortunately, some may have purchased the game at its full price (€36.99) a few days before developers announced the release date and the promotional offer. Hopefully, the game will worth that amount in the end.

The game will be released on PC, Mac and Linux on the same date

Worlds of Magic is a 4X turn-based strategy game where players are encouraged to explore and conquer a huge number of procedurally generated universes. They will be using both military and magical powers in order to overcome their enemies, as well as found cities, raise armies and research new spells.

You will start the game by creating your own Sorcerer Lord who will rule the empire. Then select from 13 spells circles that will determine which of the 400 spells in the game your lord can learn.

The game features 40 disciplines that will differentiate your lord specific strong and weak points. It's also worth mentioning that players will be able to choose from 8 available races and seven planes of existences, each with their own special attributes.

Before purchasing Worlds of Magic, keep in mind that the game is only compatible with PCs running 64-bit Windows, so make sure that you have that. For the moment, it's unclear whether or not the final version will have the same requirement.
