A 93-year-old great-grandfather from the UK has finally quit his job as a paperboy. He spent 71 years delivering the news to residents in the small village of Winterborne Monkton.

He stuck to delivering the Dorset Echo this whole time. Ted Ingram was awarded a Guinness world record for his efforts three years ago.

He has decided that it's time to take it slow, as he has started needing rides to complete his route.

Even so, villagers got their papers regularly, and he only missed two days, when snowstorms stopped traffic.

Ingram tells the Daily Mail that he was just 22 years old when he got this job, back in 1942. He just wanted to earn some extra money back then, but he fell in love with his route. He has given out 500,000 papers during his lifetime.
