The world's largest rabbit hails from East Sussex in the UK and has taken the crown for weighing about 3st 8lb (22.7 kg).

A Continental Giant, Ralph is owned by Pauline Grant, who also raised his mother and father, both former holders of the record title.

He snapped the title from last year's holder, Continental Giant Darius, by a difference of just three lbs (1.36 kg).

According to Express, Ralph is raised at the Sussex Horse Rescue Trust center in Uck-field on a vegetables and Weetabix diet.

"He will not get any bigger now. Our visitors really like him and are fascinated by him and his family," Grant says.

Grant gets donations from guests at the center, as feeding Ralph sets her back £50 ($76 / €60) every week.
