The largest cheesecake in the world has been cooked for this year's Cream Cheese Festival in Lowville, New York.

The enormous cake weighs 6,900 pounds (3,100 kg), which is enough to serve 24,533 people. According to Huffington Post, its diameter is 90.25 inches (2.3 meters). It is about 31 inches (79 cm) tall.

The recipe has been created by Philadelphia Cream Cheese and executed by Food Network star Duff Goldman.

As you would expect, it has been prepared using Philadelphia cream cheese. Ingredients also include sugar, graham cracker crumbs for the crust and a lot of butter.

The cake set a Guinness World Record and 10,000 people had a slice or two. The rest was donated to the Lowville Food Pantry and The Watertown Salvation Army Soup Kitchen.
