Acer's been extremely busy lately, bringing quite a few interesting additions to its product lineup, including here the HN274H model with NVIDIA 3D Glasses, touted as being the world's first 27-inch FHD 3D monitor.

Similar to most other products of this type available out there, new 3D monitor from Acer sports an 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a built-in IR emitter.

The fact that it comes with a built-in emitter (accompanied by NVIDIA 3D Glasses), means that the monitor should also work pretty well when paired with other signal sources (different from a graphics card, that is), such as a set-top box or Blu-ray player.

Getting back to the display itself, we'll have to mention that, beside the large diagonal size (27 inches or 68.6 cm across), it also packs a LED backlit panel, as well as quite an impressive contrast ratio, of 100,000,000:1 (pretty sure we're talking about the dynamic contrast value here).

Furthermore, the PC monitor also delivers a Full HD video resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), as well as 16:9 aspect ratio and 2 ms response time, the last value being extremely important, since it signifies the fact that the new monitor from Acer will also do a very good job during games.

Plus, in order to ensure an even higher level of image quality within various usage scenarios, the PC monitor from Apple comes packed with Acer eColor Management technology, while the Acer Adaptive Contrast Management (ACM) is used in order to dynamically adjusts the contrast ratio, for even better results.

As in the case of pretty much every product it's ever launched, Acer's refrained from providing pricing and/or availability information related to their new 3D display, but we're likely to find out more details on these topics in the near future, as this device will most likely make it to stores across the European market over the next couple of months.
