Pipo Work-W2F is an improved version of the Work W4

Last week, I told you low-cost Chinese device maker Pipo launched what can be considered the cheapest Windows 8.1 with Bing tablet in existence, coming in the form of the Work W4 which is sold for just $81 / €63.

But as most Windows 8.1 with Bing tablets, the slate brings about a bunch of caveats. Most importantly, it is offered with just 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

What if you need more but still don’t want to pay a whole chunk of money? Pipo has your back again.

Behold the 8-inch Work-W2F, which is a tablet that sells for $112 / €88 (as spotted at Tablet News). The device takes advantage of the same IPS LCD display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and Intel Bay Trail-T Z3735F processor as the Pipo Work W4.

However, this one brings along 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which might not still be enough for a Windows tab, but it’s better than the cheaper configuration.

The tab also has two cameras (5MP on the back and 2MP up in front) that are little more capable than the 2MP and 0.3MP of the Work W4.

Both models run on the same 4500 mAh battery, so their life cycle should be the same.
