Video game developer Wargaming.net has announced that all those interested in the upcoming MMO World of Warplanes can now take a look at some of the German flying machines that will be included when the game is launched later during 2012.

There will be 19 fully simulated warplanes, including light and heavy fighters, to play with when the game is initially launched and the developers have plans to expand the roster for German warplanes to more than 90 models.

Initially the line-up will include the likes of the Bf. 109G, a mass produced plane that was dangerous opponents in the early days of the war, and the Me. 262, the first jet fighter interceptor used during World War II.

Anton Sitnikov, who is the leading producer working on World of Warplanes, stated, “German engineers were never afraid of innovative design in their aircraft. They embodied their ideas into impressive mass-production models and astonishing prototypes, and we are proud to include them into World of Warplanes.”
