World of Warcraft is probably one of the most addictive PC games of all times. In order to nurture this desire for constantly playing the game, WOW will soon be available on mobile phones too. Or so it is thought.

The rumor of World of Warcraft becoming available for mobile gameplay too, seems to have been set off by some job posts on the Blizzard website. The company is looking for personnel with experience in the mobile game industry for "bringing Blizzard-IP-related functions into the mobile space". The project involves a large number of qualified persons, which suggests that they are planning a large project.

Even more, World of Warcraft is the most successful game title from all those released until now by Blizzard. Not only that, but the possibility of taking the game to the next step and putting it on mobile phones would be extremely appealing for a great number of people, which translates into making it a successful, profitable concept.

Actually, it would be of little surprise for this to really happen. This is something that has been going on with most of the highly appreciated game concepts. People just can't have enough of them, so they are bound to be a striking success when adapted to the mobile gaming requirements too.

World of Warcraft is a pay-to-play multiplayer online role-playing game that has become a huge success in the last years. It is the fourth of the Warcraft game series that have been first introduced in 1994. Since then, the game has grown huge popularity and has become the world's leading subscription-based MMORPG. World of Warcraft has won several awards and recognitions, as it has currently reached the number of 8.5 million gamers worldwide.
