Developers at Blizzard are confirming that patch 5.3 for their MMO World of Warcraft will be launched on May 21 on all North American servers and on May 22 for European players.

Gamers will be happy to learn that the experience requirements to reach top level in the MMO have been reduced by 33 percent.

The newly added Battleground will be called Deepwind Gorge, and gamers can also access four new scenarios: Battle on the High Seas, Blood in the Snow, Dark Heart of Pandaria, and The Secrets of Ragefire.

The new quest campaign is called Escalation and will have Alliance and Horde heroes work with the Darkspear Trolls to take out Garrosh Hellscream from Orgrimmar.

A complete list of changes for the new patch is available in the official announcement from Blizzard.

The patch is already available on the Public Test Realms for those who want to see the changes in action before launch.
