Despite the fact that World of Warcraft is nine years old and has seen the launch of four expansions, developer Blizzard is still committed to the MMO and wants to show that via the content included in Patch 5.2 The Thunder King.

Greg Street, the leading content designer working on the game, tells NowGamer that, “I really want players to get the message that this is a commitment of Blizzard and the World Of Warcraft team, and this is the type of content players can expect year after year.”

He says the MMO will continue to get access to more content as long as there are still paying subscribers who are interested in it.

Despite a downward trend in players, World of Warcraft continues to stay above the 10 million mark.

Blizzard is expected to show off its new MMO project during 2013.
