World of Warcraft isn’t going through the best of times right now, as its number of subscribers is slowly sinking, but there’s no denying that Blizzard’s MMORPG is still one of the most popular online games out there.
In order to give high level players more things to do before the Mists of Pandaria expansion will be released sometime next year, the studio has now deployed a brand new update, called Hour of Twilight, which brings quite a lot of new features, including a massive raid that puts an end to Deathwing’s influence over the realms of World of Warcraft, as well as plenty of new experiences.
“World of Warcraft Patch 4.3: Hour of Twilight has arrived, and with it, Deathwing’s reign of terror will finally come to an end,” Blizzard revealed about this update. “Featuring a new raid, unexplored dungeons, a legendary rogue quest line, the latest raid tier armor sets, major story developments, the Transmogrification and Void Storage features, and much more, Hour of Twilight has something for everyone.”
There’s plenty of new content that can be obtained, from new armor sets, to the Transmogrification feature for existing armor, while the Void Storage system is now present for those who want to keep items for a longer time.
“From a new raid to unexplored dungeons to the latest story developments to shake the world of Azeroth, this content update introduces a new tier of armor sets, the legendary "Fangs of the Father" rogue quest line, Transmogrification for cosmetic armor and weapon customization, Void Storage as a handy long-term storage option, Raid Finder to make forming pick-up raids easier than ever, and much more.”
World of Warcraft patch 4.3 can now be downloaded automatically once the game starts, but you can check out a trailer for the Hour of Twilight update below until it’s complete. The complete patch notes can be found here.
