Blizzard is really working hard to keep all those 11 million of subscribers to World of Warcraft happy and busy. Only a few months ago, it released the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, which added the Death Knight class and opened up a whole new continent for exploration.

The company has just released patch 3.10 for the MMO, which is set to introduce some major changes to the videogame, while also opening up a new area to play around with. You can get the latest patch for World of Warcraft from Softpedia. More details are available below.

The new area that opens up is Ulduar, up in the Storm Peaks. This ancient and huge titan city seems to be the place where the Old God of Death, Yogg-Saron, has been imprisoned. He has used its power to corrupt its guards and is close to breaking free from his bonds. As always, intrepid players will need to band together to stop this ancient threat and get some nice loot in exchange.

Another addition is the Argent Tournament, which takes place somewhere on the northeastern coast of Icecrown. Players representing all the ten faction capitals, heroes that are the best chance of each of their races, will meet to fight in this tournament in order to determine who are the champions that will face the Lich King, as his invasion gathers pace.

As part of the 3.10 patch, all those who are playing the game will have all their talent points reimbursed and they will be able to redistribute them, taking into account that new spells and abilities are available. Another significant change is the fact that some mounts can now swim without taking their rider off.

Unfortunately, Flying Mounts are not capable of this feat yet. Blizzard is also saying that it has completely re-designed Noblegarden, with more items, quests and fresh Achievements. Of course, there's new loot throughout the game, enticing old players to come back and play some more World of Warcraft.
