14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer Blizzard and Legendary Pictures are announcing that they are planning to launch the movie based on World of Warcraft to the general public on December 18 of 2015.
The official Twitter account for the MMO states, "We’re pleased to announce that @Legendary Pictures’ Warcraft will be released by @UniversalPics on December 18, 2015."
Traditionally, companies do not announce clear launch dates so far in advance, especially given that until now no information about the plot of the movie has been offered.
Colin Farrell and Paula Patton were recently linked to the main roles in the movie, which will be loosely based on the world of the MMO.
World of Warcraft has been losing subscribers in the last few months and Blizzard has recently launched a major 5.4 update for the title, with a new zone that challenges players to use their wit to find quests and rewards.
