Greg Street, the lead systems designer on Blizzard's phenomenally successful World of Warcraft MMORPG, has moved to Riot Games, the developer of the popular League of Legends free-to-play online experience.

World of Warcraft amazed millions over the years, but in recent times Riot Games' League of Legends has overtaken it in popularity.

Now, LoL dev Riot Games has apparently hired World of Warcraft designer Greg Street for a brand new project.

The move was detected in Street's LinkedIn profile and he confirmed on Twitter that more details about the move would appear when the time is right.

Street previously worked at Ensemble Studios as the lead game designer on Age of Empires 3.

As of yet, Riot Games hasn't made a comment about its new hire, so don't expect to hear anything soon.
