It's simply too difficult to walk away from your computer and leave World of Warcraft for getting the most common tasks done. GoWare now brings this highly popular game on mobile phones too, in order to give fans the chance of taking their character anywhere, although the actual mobile game is yet to come.

Rumors of World of Warcraft reaching handsets have been going by for quite a while now, but seemed to be only suppositions. GoWare has finally made it true and announced the release of a plug-in for its DoMo HomePage personalized mobile portal. This gives WoW players the ability to access and share their character data from a mobile phone.

DoMo Homepage mobile portal will enable players to automatically load their WoW character into their DoMo HomePage. Moreover, they will also have the chance of sending it through text messages, with the help of the DoMo HomePage Snapshot feature.

DoMo HomePage lets mobile phone users create personalized mobile portals for convenient delivery of all of their content through their mobile browser. This means that people will have the chance of accessing news, blogs, podcasts as well as PC files right from their mobile phones. Moreover, it allows them to share their portal content with friends through their portal or even by text messages.

Those who dream of the day when they will be able to play World of Warcraft on their mobile phones still have some time left to wait. GoWare's plug-in only enables users to show off their characters and the state that they have reached in the game. It's still a promising first step.

DoMo HomePage is available to the public as part of a free beta trial at the company's webpage. The new plug-in has just been made available for everyone to start enjoying the World of Warcraft world on their handsets too from now on.
