WoW is a mean money-making machine

Who needs to work nowadays? Just start playing World of Warcraft, get a Rogue equipped with both Legendary swords and a 4/5 of a Tier 6 armor set and sell it for $9000 plus. Making a living out of playing games and leveling up MMO characters has become a reality now and I know many other WoW fans who put their characters on sale. It seems that the above-mentioned swords were dropped by raid boss Illidan Stormrage, before being owned by the Rogue.

Zeuzo, one of the members of Clan Method cashed in due to his Rogue on the Sylvanas server. The buyer's name is Shaks and it seems that he's been inactive since September 3rd. Could the buyer have been banned? It seems possible, as the game's policy prohibits selling accounts. Weapons, character and various items, everything's for sale in WoW, legally or not... Earning money by playing games seems the easiest job in the world, but there are people who actually do it, cashing in big time.

All it takes is patience, a great Internet connection and divine skills while playing the game. Since WoW has millions of players online, I wonder how many of them are making money right now by leveling up characters. What happened to good old game playing, just for fun and entertainment? If gaming has turned into a job, the world's falling apart, as many people come home from work and start playing immediately. A job after job? Not a nice perspective at all...

One of these character-selling guys might describe his average "day at the office" as those long hours of searching for a powerful armor and the kills he made that morning. We'll soon see WoW mercenaries, only playing for money and ignoring alliances, socializing and the fun aspects of the game.
