The development team at Blizzard announces that all those who go into their World of Warcraft accounts before December 1 will get special gifts designed to celebrate the eight-year anniversary of the most popular subscription-based MMO in the world.

Gamers will get the Feat of Strength achievement and an item called the Celebration Package.

It can be used to launch fireworks, designed to celebrate the eight-year anniversary for World of Warcraft, and will offer each character a cosmetic tabard and will enhance their reputation gain and their experience by 8 percent.

The actual birthday of World of Warcraft is on November 23.

After the launch of the Mists of Pandaria expansion, the Blizzard-made MMO now has more than 10 million subscribers once again and the development team plans to continue delivering new content via patches.
