YouTube has been flooded as of late with leaked video clips detailing the environments of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. The videos were uploaded by various alpha testers of Blizzard's next expansion to the most successful MMO in the world. It seems that the alpha client for the Cataclysm expansion is out in the wild and that more assets might be appearing in the coming days and weeks.

Other recent information and screenshots from Cataclysm appeared on the site MMO Champion, but, unfortunately for World of Warcraft fans, Blizzard has recently removed them. The developer will continue to pursue and eliminate this kind of occurrences until the non-disclosure agreement is lifted.

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is the upcoming expansion for Blizzard's MMO and fans hope its release will take place sometime at the end of 2010. As with all Blizzard launch dates, nothing is set in stone and the developer may choose to delay the game until it deems it fit for sale.

The add-on is meant to be a game-changer for the World of Warcraft, bringing a long list of modifications to the original title. The level cap will be increased from 80 to 85 and two new races, the Worgen and the Goblins, will be added. Also, zones from Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms continents will be redesigned to implement the changes that came with the previous two expansions, The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King.

Two other long-awaited sequels are in the works at Blizzard right now. Diablo III, the next title in the famous action role-playing Diablo series, was announced in 2008 and is expected to arrive in 2011 or later. Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty, on the other hand, will be available on the 27th of July for the PC and Mac. Blizzard's real-time strategy will continue the story from the first game and will offer a deep and competitive multiplayer component.
