With the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion just around the corner, fans of the game that own Android devices should prepare themselves, as more apps are getting support for Google's mobile operating system.

Battle.net Authenticator is one of the most important Android security apps for World of Warcraft, as the software will generate a random keycode each time the user wants to login to his account on World of Warcraft or another Battle.net game.

This is especially useful for those gamers who live in countries where Blizzard does not send the physical Battle.net Authenticator yet. The application and the service are both completely free.

WoW Talents Pro, developed by Jason Reber, targets those really addicted WoW fans who are looking for any chance to improve their “toons”. This is one of the talents calculators for Android and is already updated to the latest patch version of the game (4.0.3).

In addition to the talent trees, WoW Talents Pro also includes Glyphs and Masteries for the best builds possible. The application is available both as free and paid version. The free version misses a few options and gets updated slower, while the paid version ($1.99) sees updates a bit faster and has more options.

WoW Droid Armory is the application that a WoW gamer cannot live without. This is the best Armory application for Android with constant updates. The app is developed by Orabig and gives players access to their character's stats and items. The application is offered as free ad-supported. To remove the ads one must donate $4.80.

WoW Tool is a simple application that offers players a drop rate calculator for loot, as well as a PvP arena points calculator.

WoW Remote Auction House targets players that are more interested in the financial side of game. The application is developed by Blizzard and lets players handle the economic part of the game. Users will be able to make purchases, list items for sale from their bank, mailbox or bags, bid and buyout items, as well as collect gold.

The full-featured app requires a monthly fee of $2.99, while the free version will only let users browse the auction house.
