Many people are trying to stop a US military intervention in Syria, and some are doing it the satirical way.

The Second City anti-Obama comedy group have started a campaign suggestively titled “The Americans for Whatever Barack Obama Wants, Did You Know He’s Friends with Jay-Z?”

In an effort to pinpoint how much the costs of a Syrian war would be supported by the States, they have created a mock Kickstarter ad.

They ask for $1.6 trillion (€1.2 trillion) for Obama's war. They also describe Americans as broke, according to Personal Liberty.

The ad claims that his supporters would literally follow him to their deaths, since they have elected him.

“Yes, we can start World War Three!” they say, hinting at the large scale political implications of the Syrian operation.
