World Pool Championship 2007 Released

- The realistic feeling of playing pool on your mobile phone

By: Elena Balan, Communications News Editor

World Pool Championship 2007 will be available from now on in I-play's extensive global distribution network. This comes as a result of a license deal that this company has signed with the mobile division of Blade Interactive.

World Snooker Championship 2007 has proved to be a great
success since its launch, in March. I-play hopes to do the same thing with the pool version and has high chances of succeeding, considering the number of fans that there are out there for this game.

"We’re hugely excited to be working with the masters of pool game development and to be bringing the IPA World Pool Championship license, a property that has the most resonance amongst pool fans around the world, to mobile for the first time. Will you play as pool demon Phil Harrison, the legendary Neil Raybone, or all time favourite Chris Melling? - players who are among the eight players taking part in the tournament. With these Pool playing gods, the ‘World Pool Championship 2007’ on your mobile will be as compelling as the real thing", said Leighton Webb, SVP of Content Strategy and Licensing for I-play.

The game stands out due to its high quality graphics which surpass other similar game concepts. What makes it differ from all the others is the feeling of actually being there and playing pool in real time. This comes both in 2D and 3D versions, with high quality images and game action.

The feeling of a real game is what best defines World Pool Championship 2007. This is a good way of exploiting the niche of pool lovers and their number has high chances of being pretty great. With what it has to offer, in terms of gameplay and looks, I-play has high chances of shooting a new success in their line of mobile games.
