Sequel of a smashing hit

"World Poker Tour Texas Hold 'Em 2" will soon have the chance to land on a large number of handsets. Game producer, Hands-On Mobile, and multi-media company, 3UK, have joined forces in order to bring entertainment on the mobile phones of all poker-players out there.

This is the first time when a free, multiplayer World Poker Tour game will be available to European poker fans too. The greatest advantage that this version of the game brings is that it offers the possibility of competing against other players from anywhere around the globe. Such a feature has been used in the case of many other games, with great results in raising stakes and making the challenge even more intense.

"We have been looking forward to this launch for a long time and we are all incredibly excited to bring the huge success of multiplayer World Poker Tour on mobile from the US to Europe", said Eric Hobson, President and General Manager EMEA, Hands-On Mobile. Moreover, "Poker is a real community game and now, with World Poker Tour Texas Hold 'Em 2, that community will be able to play and interact with each other no matter where they are in the world", he further added.

The game comes to follow the great success that the original World Poker Tour Texas Hold 'Em 'play-for-fun' multiplayer game has received on the US market. This older version has been considered the number one card and casino title. Considering the fact that this second version is only an upgraded one to a smashing hit, there are huge chances for it to eventually manage to at least match the previous success.

"World Poker Tour Texas Hold 'Em 2" multiplayer will be available from 3UK, for starters, with hopes of reaching other carriers too after its launch. Players will have the chance of enjoying this game with one payment option. They will have to pay a monthly subscription of 2 pounds.
