World Championship Poker, in case you didn't realize from the title, is a poker simulation video game made for the Nintendo DS, as well as a variety of other platforms, including the PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, PC, Xbox or Nintendo Wii, developed by Coresoft and then published by Crave Entertainment back in 2005 for all of the aforementioned platforms, which has seen two sequels released afterwards.
The game arrived just when poker began being noticed by the world, and capitalized on the popularity of competitions like the World Series of Poker, allowing players to indulge in the same type of card games but without losing any real-world money, instead focusing on just virtual currency that could quickly change hands depending on the skill and luck of the player, and the intelligence of the AI-controlled opponents.
HINTS
Avoid repeating earlier rounds
After completing the first round of a Hold 'Em tournament, do not go "all in" on a hand in the later rounds. When you get down to about $500 or more, when asked if you want to play again at the end of a hand, say “No.” By doing this, you can restart the tournament on the round you are currently on instead of completing the earlier rounds again.
Easy money
Go into the Air Hockey room. Look at the cola machine and walk back. Press A + B + R immediately. If done correctly, you should get $200.
Use the following trick to never lose money. If you are at a table and you lose a new game, turn off the DS. When you turn it back on, you will still have your money.
GLITCHES
Partially go in the Nebula
Go up to the Nebula. You will get a message telling you to win a tournament. Go out, then go in backwards. You will see a spaceship hall.
