Microsoft has partnered with GoDaddy.com in order to introduce a new offering to small businesses based on Outlook and Exchange Server 2007. In this regard, the largest registrar of domains worldwide has announced that it is launching a new hosted email plan for small business customers with the Redmond giant's technology delivering the infrastructure. The new mobile and group e-mail plans will be powered by Exchange Server 2007 and will be accessible via Outlook.

“This announcement with GoDaddy.com represents an exciting opportunity for business owners to leverage the resources of two industry leaders who understand the needs of businesses and their employees,” explained John Zanni, general manager of Worldwide Hosting at Microsoft.

GoDaddy.com is also the largest hosting provider in the U.S. and, together with Microsoft, it is aiming to deliver comprehensive hosted Exchange plans for SMBs. The Redmond company revealed that with the new set of offerings, GoDaddy.com customers will be able to enjoy Personal Outlook, Outlook with Mobile, and Group Outlook with Mobile.

“By expanding our existing partnership, GoDaddy.com is now providing its customers with the benefits of mobile e-mail and Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, in addition to the reliable infrastructure and support that has made GoDaddy.com one of the top hosting services providers worldwide,” Zanni added.

With the new mobile and group e-mail plans, small businesses can now enable their employees to access calendar, address books, tasks and e-mails independent of location or device. At the same time, Microsoft promises that the collaborative capabilities of SMBs will be increased, all without spending additional financial resources on hardware.

“We have many customers who currently use Microsoft Office Outlook for their e-mail. It was only natural that we expanded our offerings to include mobile and group e-mail plans with Microsoft Outlook,” said GoDaddy.com CEO and Founder Bob Parsons. “Our goal is to be a one-stop shop for every customer. Business owners who want the advantage of Microsoft Outlook e-mail plans can rely on us, without worrying about system maintenance.”
