WordPress for Windows Phone 1.8.1 Now Available for Download

There’s a new WordPress application available for download in the Windows Phone Store. The latest update promises to fix some bugs and crashes discovered in previous versions.

The developers claim they have fixed a crash when the translation files had an empty string in it and a minor layout issue on HTC Windows Phone 8X devices.

Furthermore, a crash when the media library contained a corrupted image on Edit Post Page has been fixed as well. Other bug fixes have been included, but devs did not offer any further details.

Creators of WordPress have also confirmed that they are considering introducing the Featured Image option and improvements on the Editor Page, along with more enhancements, in future versions.

WordPress 1.8.1 is now available as a free download via Windows Phone Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 7 and up. Check it out here.
