WordPress users who don’t want to wait for the next core release to fix bugs, can now turn to this latest unofficial plugin for upgrading their WP core.

The 0.8 release of the Hotfix plugin resolves an issue in which plugins and theme styles bled into the dashboard. This means that if the patch is applied themes and plugins won’t interfere with the WordPress administrator panel’s native design.

It also includes JSON support for load-scripts.php for those who rely on older versions.

You are advised to apply to patch, but keep in mind that this doesn’t mean you can stop updating WordPress, instead you can apply some selected fixes before the new release.

To install the latest hotfix you must unpack the file and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory and activate it from the Plugins menu.

WordPress Hotfix 0.8 is available for download here.
