WordPress “Malware Finder” Plugin Helps Admins Find Malicious Code

TEK Development released Malware Finder, the company’s first WordPress plugin, designed to help administrators find malicious code in their web files. It’s not uncommon for large numbers of WordPress sites to be compromised all at once by cybercriminals who want to spread their pieces of malware, and cleaning such a mess is no easy task for administrators.

The new plugin will save admins the hassle of manually searching for malicious code inside their files because it does all the work automatically.

Malware finder searches the entire WordPress installation and pinpoints the exact location of the compromised files.

The developers note that users who are unable to access their WordPress dashboards cannot utilize the plugin.
