14 DAY TRIAL // WordPress.org has released a new beta version of its blogging application for Mac, Windows and Linux, adding a number of fixes and enhancements, including the ability to automatically download available translations.
If you’re running WordPress in a language other than English, you’ll be delighted to learn that version 3.7 Beta 1 automatically downloads any available translations for official WordPress importers and the default themes.
Thanks to Dropbox’s zxcvbn library, the password meter got a whole lot better. Search results are now ordered by relevance, and your results will be pushed to the top when your keywords match post titles and not just content. Advanced date queries in WP_Query are available for developers.
On Windows, WordPress 3.7 also adds automatic (background) updates.
