WordPress 3.3 RC2 Is Now Available

A second release candidate for WordPress 3.3 has been made available. The team reckons it's very close to a final release now, but there may still be another release candidate out.

WordPress 3.3 RC2 comes one week after the first release candidate. The first beta came out a couple of months ago, but development started as soon as WordPress 3.2 was out the door, in July.

"Primarily, we’ve ensured that new toolbar (the admin bar in 3.2) has a consistent appearance across all browsers, and the API for developers is now final," WordPress described the notable changes in RC2.

There may still some lingering bugs, but WordPress 3.3 RC2 is probably the last chance to test themes and plugins, before the final release starts rolling out.
