Scarlet Johansson was extremely impressed with Woody Allen's sharp eye for fashion. She recently filmed for his upcoming movie "Match Point", and couldn't help notice how careful is the director when it comes to details.
Scarlet said: "What he really seemed focused on was the way the characters looked. He'd see little differences in costumes that I don't think anybody would notice."
And she continued:
"Every film I do, I know exactly what I want to look like, but Woody wanted to pick the dresses I wore.
If we ever have to make any awards-show appearances, I told him he could pick my dress. He seemed to expect that he would be doing that anyway."
It seems Woody Allen could be working as a stylist if he suddenly were to wake up one day and find himself unemployed. Which is hard to believe, thanks to his acting, writing and, last but not least, directing skills.
Scarlet Johansson is also to star in "Scoop", another Woody Allen piece, to start filming in 2006, a story about an American student (Johansson) who begins, in London, an
affair with an aristocrat.
