Motorola has made available a wide range of customization options for users interested in purchasing a Moto X smartphone, yet one of them is still nowhere to be seen, namely wooden back plates.

A newly leaked photo coming from @evleaks suggests that these cases will be put up for sale soon, and that users will be able to opt in for them even when grabbing the handset on Verizon’s network.

They will be released through Motorola’s MotoMaker website, the same as all other custom back plates for the device. Initially, all customization options for this phone had been available exclusively to AT&T users, but Motorola has already launched them on other networks as well.

Recently, these back plates have been said to arrive in December, yet an official release date hasn’t been provided as of now. According to PhoneArena, we might not see them landing in the MotoMaker until December 17.
