At work, at least, says survey

Just recently, a survey showed that one in three men still had serious issues when his partner (wife or girlfriend) was behind the wheel because he felt she lacked concentration and was too easily distracted to be a good driver. At the workplace, though, the story is different, since women tend to be much more organized and, therefore, record better performance, than their male counterparts, the Mirror informs.

According to a recent study, women handle themselves better at the workplace, even in situations of crisis, as compared to men. Whereas gents have a certain habit of showing up late and / or misplacing important papers because of the mess on their desk, this rarely happens to a woman. As such, men have been passed for promotions because of their poor organizational skills, while few women can complain they have.

Women are more organized in the workplace than men, according to a survey. Researchers found women are better at meeting deadlines and turning up on time for work, while men struggle to keep on top of things, often forgetting to phone people back and losing documents on their messy desks,” the Mirror says of the study. It was conducted by “The Apprentice” star Karren Brady, who is leading the Practically Genius campaign for DYMO.

“The study of 4,000 workers by label makers DYMO said that more than one in 10 men have been warned by their boss about their poor organization and more than one in 20 men have missed out on a promotion because of it. The figures were released yesterday by Lord Sir Alan Sugar’s new sidekick on The Apprentice, Karren Brady, who is spearheading a DYMO campaign. She said: ‘Good organization can really help your performance at work’,” the Mirror further writes.

This out of the way, and knowing for a fact that women are more organized at work than men, the only thing that still needs attending to is the much talked about pay gap between genders, which seems to have narrowed a bit in recent years but is still to disappear altogether.
