Probably, whenever you hear "women's volleyball", you think about sunny beaches and colorful bikinis but this time, we're talking about a sports game, not one which sells itself as a beauty contest. A game developed exclusively for the PlayStation 2, so really now, don't
expect to see the true next gen graphics in. However, you should expect to get some addictive gameplay and a lot of options to keep you busy until you decide to go outside and play some real life volleyball with your friends!

Developed by Agetec, Women's Volleyball will be released this August and it will feature exactly six venues from across the world, as well as a host of fully detailed national teams. And, since the girls will be ready to play, so should you: don't expect some arcade button smashing, but "the most accurate representation of the sport ever presented on a gaming console". That's what the developers promise and we can only trust them, as the game has not been released yet.

"Women's Volleyball brings the intense action of professional volleyball to the gaming community," said Spike, Agetec producer. "Professional volleyball produces some of the best athletes in the world and it's high time someone introduced a great video game that reflects that."

Women's Volleyball brings you twelve countries to choose from and the battle to reach the number one spot will be fierce - if you think you can't handle it, you'll have the option to create your own team of pros and then you'll have no excuse not to win all the games!

This team creation thing is considered one of the key features brought to us by the game. And we're sure it's going to be appreciated: we all like teams of superheroes and that's exactly what these editors allow us to do! Also, the Agetec team of developers says that player exhaustion and dominant hand are things that will be taken into account in the game. Everything sounds nice... let's just wait and see the final product!
