As expected, most of our readers, 32.66% that is, considered that women and discrimination issues don't really have a place in a fantasy dominated world and that such allegations of preferential treatment won't find a lot of supporters amongst true gamers.
The second place, with a staggering 20.42%, is taken by the ones who consider that women aren't well represented in video games and that they should pose a more serious weight in the industry. We
also have to consider that many games launched in the past year and the ones in development are making female characters available for a better coverage of the market. The women emancipations movement may have reached a little late the games community but it's here, without any doubt.
The last standings are taken by readers and gamers that are completely oblivious to the revolution movement of the Earth and the power of women rights. Thinking that discrimination in games is not an issue or to completely ignore it is no longer possible because the adaptive movement of game developers to this problem has already begun. "Women are poorly represented in computer games, they have always been, and they will always be" is one of the questions, but in the light of the other answers and the recent scandals, it should be more like this: "Women will have better representation in games and their influence will grow exponentially in time".
Obviously, there are more guys playing games than girls, but I'm pretty sure this is changing trend that's picking up speed. No one is safe from the ultimate matriarchy domination: "All your base are belong to them".
