A woman has kept records on her dramatic weight-loss, taking pictures throughout the process. Amanda, as she identifies herself, started losing weight in 2011.
Over the course of a year and a half she managed to drop 88 pounds (40 kg), which is very impressive as she started off weighing 222 pounds (100 kg).
She credits her new body shape to a high-protein diet, scheduling and portioning her meals and doing exercise.
"I figured if I did it [took pictures] at least once a month, at the end of however long it took, I would have this really cool end product," Amanda explains to ABC News.
A time-lapse clip and gif of her transformation has made her a star on Reddit. It has been submitted on the sharing site by user kltters.
