Just in time for this year's Valentine's Day, the story about how one woman decided to take revenge on her cheating boyfriend by cutting off a tattoo of his nickname and then sending the piece of skin to him by post ended up making headlines.

The woman in question is 26 years old. She currently lives in the United Kingdom, and her name is Torz Reynolds.

However, the tattoo that she recently removed from her body using a scalpel, dissection tweezers and numbing spray to control her bleeding identified her as Chopper's [expletive] (just think of something that rhymes with Mitch).

This is because the ex-boyfriend that Torz Reynolds was so determined to take revenge on that she mutilated herself is known to friends and close ones as Stuart “Chopper” May.

Talking to the press, the 26-year-old woman explains that, some time ago, 24-year-old Stuart told her that he had landed a great job in Alaska, and that he was therefore moving out of the country.

Torz saw him off at the airport, and assumed that this was goodbye, Mirror reports.

However, just one week later, she discovered that Stuart had not only remained in the United Kingdom, but that he had also found a new girlfriend.

What's more, Torz says that she has reasons to believe that Stuart first started seeing this other woman about six months before the two of them parted ways at the airport.

By cutting off the tattoo of her ex-boyfriend's nickname and sending him the piece of skin, the woman wanted to prove that she no longer wanted anything to do with him.

The way she sees things, this was the best way that she could take revenge on Stuart for his lying to and cheating on her.

“Removing the tattoo like that was definitely closure. I like to get over things quickly and I always delete someone completely out of my life,” Torz says.

“I packaged it up so it really did look like a present. I even used different handwriting so he'd have no idea that it was me. I can't imagine what his reaction was. I wish I could have been there to see it,” she adds.

Apparently, it took the 26-year-old about an hour and a half to cut off the tattoo. Torz says that she was not in great pain while she was slicing it off, but that she did experience discomfort for several days after the deed.

“I don't like pain, but the skin coming off was actually quite relaxing. It was the after-pain that hurt the most. It felt like a nasty stinging sensation and putting on clothes was a difficult task,” Torz explains.
