14 DAY TRIAL // Most women who undergo plastic surgery do so because they believe there’s something about their body or face that could use improvement. Then, there are others who do it because they want to look entirely different, like the case of Nileen Namita, a 50-year-old woman from Brighton. Namita underwent 51 interventions on her face alone and has spent an estimated £200,000 to look like “a living sculpture” of Nefertiti, the Daily Mail informs.
The mother of three deems her face a “work in progress,” saying she does not plan to stop here with the plastic surgery. Her “journey,” she reveals, began many years ago, when she started having very vivid dreams that always left her confused. She went to a counselor and learned that she was Nefertiti reincarnated and, since then, she’s been molding herself (her face, more specifically) with the help of plastic surgery to look just like the “Beauty of the Nile.”
“[She] has had 51 cosmetic surgery operations – including eight nose jobs, three chin implants, one eyebrow lift, three facelifts, six mini facelifts, two lip surgeries, five eye surgeries and 20 minor tweaks – in her efforts to recreate herself in the image of the ‘Beauty of the Nile’.” Daily Mail writes of the many interventions Namita has undergone throughout the years. The transformation is not yet complete, though, she believes, for which reason she will undergo even more surgery until she is satisfied she looks just like Nefertiti.
Namita is certain people won’t understand why she has done those things to her face but, in the end, she says, it doesn’t really matter as long as she’s happy. She sees her transformation as a means of allowing her to show her true personality. Moreover, she admits, she also gets more attention from younger men because her look is “timeless and ageless,” being able to pass for a 25-year-old when she’s actually 51.
“Aged 23 I underwent psychoanalysis with a counselor. Slowly I began to realize that I was having these dreams because I am a reincarnation of Nefertiti. A few weeks later I saw a picture of Nefertiti for the first time and I was struck by how familiar it was. I know some people will find it hard to understand why I have put myself through so much surgery, but by then the visions had become even more powerful, I decided to remodel my face so I looked like a modern version of Nefertiti.” Namita states.
