Woman Speaks of Extramarital Affair with Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver have separated after 25 years of marriage, with some saying his infidelities finally took a toll on the marriage. Gigi Goyette is now speaking to the media about the long lasting affair she had with the actor.

This is not the first time that Gigi Goyette’s name pops up in the tabloids, since she said before she had an affair with the former Governor of California.

In light of the recent announcement that he and Maria were taking some time off to see whether their marriage could still be saved (and most importantly, if it was worth saving in the first place), Gigi feels the need to speak out in her own defense.

She did have an affair with Arnold and it did last many, many years, but she was in no way responsible for the separation, she says in a brand new interview cited by the Daily Mail.

“I don’t think I had anything to do with the break-up of his marriage,” Gigi says. That’s not to say that Arnold did not have extramarital affairs – because he did.

“Maria Shriver is a Kennedy so I think that, like a good Kennedy, she decided to ignore what was happening,” the so-called lover states.

She even goes on to say that she’s still in contact with the star, and that she even spoke to him in the aftermath of the separation announcement.

“He was lovely. He asked me how I was doing. We had a really nice conversation. It felt like old times,” Gigi explains.

According to statements Gigi has previously made in the press, she and Arnold go way back, having met in 1975, when she was just 16 years old.

The made love once that same year and did not have any contact whatsoever until 1989, when he was already married to Maria – she claims they’ve been lovers ever since.
