A Florida man anticipating a confrontation with his mother-in-law hit record on his iPhone before picking up his son for a court-ordered visitation, when the woman shot three times at the man, hitting him twice.

The audio/video tape released by the Broward County Police Department reportedly aided investigators in determining what happened

Salvatore Miglino arrived to get the boy for his weekly Wednesday visitation when Cheryl Hepner told Miglino that his father-in-law, Sheldon Hepner, wished to speak with him.

When Miglino refused, Cheryl Hepner opened fire, at which point the wounded man can be heard screaming, "I can't believe you did that! What are you, crazy? I can't believe you shot me!"

The police soon arrived at the scene and found Miglino sitting in his car, bleeding. He was rushed to the hospital where he was treated for the gunshot wounds to the shoulder and ribcage.

Hepner was arrested and she is now being held without bond in a Broward County jail.
