Amanda Pollard from Pekin, Illinois was arrested after setting up traps all over her friend's house in an attempt to pay him back for kicking her out. Joshua Brewster, 33, decided he didn't want to live with Amanda anymore and called 911, to send police officers to their house, in an attempt of getting rid of the woman.

Even if she agreed to leave and then asked for permission to come and pick up her things, Amanda wasn't planning of letting Joshua go so easily, so she took the matter into her own hands and forced her way into the house to surprise her “roomie” with a series of traps.

Suspicious of the woman, Brewster asked one of his friends to keep an eye on the house while he is away, and found Amanda setting up life-threatening traps all over the place. Pollard wanted payback by putting rat poison in the man's coffee and cereal, urinating in his mouthwash and cutting an electric blanket cord in an attempt to electrify the man in his sleep, Journal Star notes.

Her revenge traps attempts were discovered before anything bad could happen to Joshua, and the vengeful woman was charged with unlawful tampering of food, trespassing and criminal damage to property.

Before deciding to mess around with the man's things, Pollard went to pick up her belongings and threatened Brewster, saying that she will burn down the house with him in it, as a payback. Joshua, keeping in mind that the woman might try to hurt him, took precaution measures by asking a friend to stand guard at the house while he is at work.

Brewster's friend allegedly found Amanda while she was attempting to cut the cord of the blanket and she even confessed to him her intents of paying back the one that kicked her out. When faced by police officers, she only admitted to putting rat poison in the man's coffee, because she was “hurt and angry” for being evicted.

The crazed woman is now under arrest and a bond was set for $50,000, until facing court on December 26. The 28-year-old looking for revenge may be looking at a few years behind bears instead.
