Gabriella Graham, a 21-year-old woman, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud in front of a judge, after prosecutors found her to be part of a gang of crooks that installed skimming devices at ATMs belonging to banks in southern New England.

A number of 11 banks and a credit union were targeted by the fraudsters who were running the operation by the book. They installed ATM skimmers and pinhole cameras that allowed them to obtain all the data they needed to create fake credit cards, Courant reports.

Graham’s role in the operation was to help produce the fake cards, write PINs on their back and occasionally she was in charge of withdrawing money from ATMs.

More than 250 individuals have fallen victim to their schemes, the total losses adding up to around $336,000 (235,000 EUR).
