14 DAY TRIAL // A baker from Brownshill, West Midlands, England, named Lara Clarke, has created any Johnny Depp fan’s idea of a dream cake by baking a life-size cake of the actor, in character as Cpt. Jack Sparrow from Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean” film franchise.

Clarke made the cake Depp from PVC pipes and a stainless steel support, which she then covered in crisped rice and marshmallows. If that sounds like it could tempt you into trying a piece of Johnny (pun intended), forget about it because, as the baker puts it, it’d probably make you sick.
“The cake is designed to be looked at, rather than eaten. I started it in September, so it's probably past its best,” she says.
So, if you’re wondering why she made the cake if it can’t be eaten, the answer is simple: it was her entry in the Cake International competition in Birmingham.
“One of my friends was on the phone and said I should enter Cake International. I was watching ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’... I thought [Depp] would make the perfect cake,” she says.
