Julia Caples, a mother of two from Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, has been drinking live human blood for the past 30 years or so, and she swears she’s never felt better in her life. She swears by the practice as the key to a healthy, long life, even though her own kids frown upon it.

Check out the video report below.

Caples says she first discovered she had a taste for human blood as she was having her first kiss, when she felt the urge to bite her boyfriend on the lip – an impulse she did not hesitate to act upon.

The boy never kissed her again, she says laughing, but she never regretted her gesture.

When she met her ex-husband Donald Lazarowic, she became a regular drinker because she finally had now a partner to share a hobby with.

They are now divorced but they’re still close, with Donald speaking highly of the mother of his children. He also says he gave up feeding on human blood so that at least one of them could be focused 100% on the kids.

As for Julia, she doesn’t see anything wrong with what she does: all her “donors” are tested beforehand and all are volunteers who agree to come to her house to have her feed on them on the condition that she returns the favor when they’re feeling… thirsty.

She also believes there’s some health benefit to drinking blood that hasn’t even been discovered yet because she feels positively fantastic.

“When I feed off of a person and drink their blood I feel stronger and healthier,” she says.

“I know scientifically there's not a lot nutrition in blood, but maybe there's some value we haven't discovered yet. I feel more beautiful than any other time when I'm regularly drinking. I'm also extremely healthy with no major health problems, and I have an abundance of energy all the time,” Caples adds.

The expert interviewed at the end of the video says he’d never ever (ever ever!) recommend drinking another person’s blood.
