A woman who happens to be very fond of lions is now no longer allowed to admire such felines living in captivity at Memphis Zoo in Tennessee, US, and she has only herself to blame for it.

Thus, media reports says that the woman, whose identity has not yet been shared with the public, has been banned from setting foot on the facility's premises after getting a tad too close to a group of lions.

Specifically, USA Today tells us that, sometime last week, the woman jumped the barrier separating visitors to the zoo from the big cats, and fed the felines some cookies.

Despite being caught by security officers and sent on her way, the woman returned a few days later. This time, she not only tried to offer the lions cookies, but also started singing to them.

This is yet to be confirmed, but rumor has it that the tune the woman tried to sing to the lions was about how much she missed them during the days that they were forced to keep away from each other.

“(She was singing) some song that was telling how much she missed them,” Memphis Zoo spokesperson Abbey Dane reportedly told the press in an interview.

One can only hope that, now that she has been banned from Memphis Zoo, the woman will not crush on lions living at some other wildlife sanctuary in the region.
