Woman Complains About Deer Crossing the Street in Inconvenient Locations, on the Radio

The Playhouse Fargo radio station got this call from a woman urging authorities to move crossing signs for deer to lower traffic areas.

User tutufunny4u reassures users of the fact that this is not a prank, but an actual call made to the radio station.

“Why are we encouraging deer to cross the interstate?” the woman asks, after admitting she had already got into 3 separate car accidents involving deer, over the last few years.

It appears deer are a pest and should be treated accordingly. First of all, they are very unruly and most likely illiterate, and have no disregard for traffic signs.

The woman does show consideration for the fact that deer need to “travel across the street, occasionally, to survive, and, of course, find food and everything,” but believes they should be more responsible in choosing where they cross the street.

Other anecdotes follow, until we are almost convinced she has a point. Almost.

This apparent disconnect with reality is unbelievable. And she votes.

Why didn't she just suggest crossing guards? This would ensure that the deer would cross safely, reduce accidents, and provide much needed jobs!

I am wondering if this may work. My suggestion would be to put a stop light

at each of those signs where the deer could press a button with there nose.

and when they see the green light they could then cross. OMG., tee hee!
