We got our Guitar Hero, Rock Band and Sing Star titles - all of them are games which allow us to become superstars in the music world, but none actually allows us to have any real control on the industry. Wolverine has decided to right the wrongs and release Music Wars Rebirth, a much improved version of the well known text-only series of Music Wars titles.

Dubbed as a real music industry simulation game, Music Wars Rebirth will bring a brand new interactive mode which will allow us to see how critics and audiences react to our artist's material. Also, the sales of our recorded singles, LPs or EPs will be influenced by population, economy and seasonal trends of each of the six continents, while the studio's quality and time spent for recoding tracks will have a major influence on the quality of the discs.

Also, you will be able to control all the aspects of your band: choose who writes the songs (as well as their genres, names and even topic!), arrange tours or take part in music festivals (which can bring you new audiences) or decide how it's best to promote your records: by paying for a costly advertising campaign, hosting a national tour or run from TV Station to TV Station and hope for the best.

Statistics lovers will find the extensive discography and history of the bands a great addition to Music Wars Rebirth, while those who prefer customization above all things will find the in-game editor extremely valuable, since it allows the modding of the game and the creation of your own musical universe - where you can customize everything, from song titles to artists.

Although there are no details available on the visual aspect of the game, we truly hope, for the sake of the game's popularity, that it will have at least basic graphical features. If it does that, it has all the chances to turn into a huge success.
