14 DAY TRIAL // WolframAlpha 1.4 has been released in the App Store with a bunch of enhancements, including an image processing feature (via in-app purchase), e-commerce links, and UI improvements.
Existing users of the WolframAlpha iOS app will be glad to learn that updating to version 1.4 will yield access to premium image-processing functionality with a 1 dollar in-app purchase of a new Image Input extension.
For newcomers, the app costs three bucks, but the image processing feature still costs the extra dollar to use.
WolframAlpha 1.4 also serves up e-commerce links from consumer product queries, and comes with a bunch of upgrades to weather output. Lastly, the developers have made some user interface improvements. The app is universal (for both iPhone and iPad)
